In the Federal Capital Territory, land and property titles are administered through the Federal Capital Territory Administration and its Abuja Geographic Information Systems (AGIS). Before any money changes hands, the documents presented by a seller should be checked against official records and reviewed by a qualified lawyer.
We help clients organise that process: gathering copies of the title documents, coordinating official searches, flagging inconsistencies, and making sure that consent, assignment and other completion documents are properly prepared. We always recommend that buyers retain their own independent legal counsel.
